Where the Earth
Yields Abundance

From our farmland in Ogun State, Gravitus Integrated Farms operates as a fully integrated agribusiness enterprise, built on organic growth, serious intent and a vision formed decades before the first seed was planted.

Our Story

Born from the Soil

Every great farm begins as an act of belief. At Gravitus Integrated Farms, that belief was planted long before the first seed ever touched Ogun State soil, carried quietly for decades by a man who watched Nigeria's agricultural potential be dismissed by a generation that chose oil, and who decided, privately and firmly, that he would be part of the correction.

Gravitus Integrated Farms was born in 2021 as an investee company under Gravitus Holdings. We are a disciplined, deliberate and self built enterprise, every acre we farm, every crop we have harvested, and every mistake we have recovered from has been shaped by our own resolve and our own convictions. Our growth since our founding in 2021 has been organic in the truest sense of the word.

The name Gravitus is derived from the Latin gravitas. We chose it because we wanted to signal, from the very beginning, that this was not a hobby farm or a passing interest. Agriculture done right is one of the most serious things a person can do. It feeds families, builds soil, creates livelihoods, and outlasts the people who began it. We came to it with that weight in mind.

Our starting point was land in Aganrigan Village, Ogun State. We began with 6 acres of cocoa and plantain. Six acres that felt enormous at the time, and now feel like the first sentence of a very long story. What began as 6 acres is now 100 acres and still counting. The land did not give itself to us easily. The weather did not always cooperate. The markets did not always reward. We made mistakes, some costly, some instructive, most both. We have learned a good number of lessons, and we suspect the education is far from over.

But something rare happened along the way: the farm grew. Not just in acreage, but in confidence, in complexity, in ambition. Cocoa and plantain gave way to oil palm, lemon, cassava, banana, okra, yam, and animal husbandry. A farm that began as a single intention became a fully integrated enterprise, one in which every element feeds the others, and nothing is wasted. That, in the end, is what Gravitus means to us: a serious thing, built slowly, built right, built to last.

The Journey 2021 to Present
2021
The Beginning, 6 Acres of Cocoa and Plantain

Gravitus Integrated Farms is established as an investee company under Gravitus Holdings. We identify our farmland in Aganrigan Village, Ogun State as our starting point and begin cultivating 6 acres of cocoa and plantain, modest in size, but serious in purpose. The name Gravitus, drawn from the Latin gravitas, sets the tone: we are here to do something that matters.

2022
Experimenting with Citrus

We venture into citrus cultivation, dedicating one acre to Meyer and Eureka lemon. It is our first deliberate experiment beyond our founding crops, testing the land, learning the rhythms of a new species, and beginning to think about diversification as a strategy rather than an accident.

2023
Oil Palm Enters the Portfolio

We identify the need to incorporate oil palm into our operations and plant our first 5 acres of oil palm plantation. The decision proves transformative. Today, that initial 5 acres has grown to more than 30 acres of oil palm, one of the fastest expanding pillars of the Gravitus farm system.

2024
Animal Husbandry and Crop Expansion

We venture into animal husbandry and significantly broaden our crop portfolio, adding cassava, banana, okra and yam to our portfolio. The farm becomes genuinely integrated, not just in name but in practice. Livestock and crops begin to reinforce one another within the same land system.

2025
100 Acres, The Farm Doubles

A landmark year. We double our farm size from 50 acres to 100 acres. What began as 6 acres of cocoa and plantain in Aganrigan Village is now a 100 acre integrated agribusiness enterprise, and still growing.

2026 to Present
Hybrid Coconut, Oil Palm Production & the Road to Export

We dedicate 6 acres to hybrid coconut cultivation, with the intention to scale this significantly in the years ahead. In parallel, we begin small scale oil palm production, and our first step into processing, with a clear vision: to commence full scale production and export by 2028. The journey continues.

Our Purpose

Why We Farm the Way We Do

Mission

Why We Exist

We exist to prove that African agriculture, when managed with intention and integrity, can feed communities, build wealth, and leave the land better than we found it.

We do this by cultivating Nigerian soil through integrated, responsible agriculture, growing premium plantation crops, rearing healthy livestock, and transforming raw produce into quality goods that reach families and markets across the world.

Vision

Where We Are Going

To be West Africa's most trusted and respected integrated agribusiness, recognised for excellence in plantation farming, livestock production, agroprocessing, and agricultural consulting.

We envision Gravitus Integrated Farms as a continuously expanding enterprise, deepening its value chain, opening new global export markets, and remaining anchored in the values and community ties from which we grew.

Core Values

How We Work

Our values are not aspirations on a wall, but rather the standards by which every decision on the farm and in the boardroom is made.

  • IntegrityWe are honest in every transaction, transparent with every partner and accountable to every commitment we make.
  • ExcellenceWe pursue the highest standards in farming, processing and service, because quality is the foundation of lasting trust.
  • StewardshipWe treat the land, our people and our resources as precious assets to be cared for, not consumed.
  • FamilyOur business is built on family bonds. We extend that spirit to every employee, partner and community we work with.
  • InnovationWe embrace better methods, new markets and smarter ways to farm, because standing still is not an option.
How We Think, Six Principles
01

Governance as Foundation

Institutions that survive are institutions that are built right, with clear structures, accountable decisions, and nothing hidden. At Gravitus, sound governance is not a formality. It is the bedrock on which everything else stands.

02

Patience as Strategy

The greatest things are rarely built quickly. Organic growth, no shortcuts, no external pressure to deliver before the land is ready. The willingness to build slowly and build well is not a limitation, but rather the strategy itself.

03

Risk is Managed, Not Avoided

Every crop, every season, every expansion at Gravitus is mapped and stress tested before it begins. Risk is not something to fear, but rather something to understand, measure, and mitigate with discipline.

04

Integrity and Commitment

At Gravitus, integrity is not a policy, but rather a standard of conduct that applies equally in the boardroom and on the farm. Every commitment made is a commitment kept. Where there is integrity in the small things, commitment in the large things follows naturally.

05

Profitability and Responsibility

Food sufficiency is the goal. Profitability is what makes it sustainable. Responsibility is what makes it worth doing. At Gravitus, none of the three is optional. They must coexist, or none of them matters.

06

Vision Before Circumstance

The clearest ideas often arrive long before the conditions are right to act on them. The discipline is to hold them, to resist distraction, to build the necessary foundation and to move only when the moment is earned.

Sustainability

Farming for Generations

Sustainability here is a daily practice rather than a slogan. We are a young business and we say so honestly: we have not arrived at the gold standard of sustainable agriculture, but we are building toward it deliberately and without shortcuts. The land we tend today is the legacy we leave to our community.

Soil Health

Soil Health

Composted manure and crop residues go back into the soil. We never burn, and we are building toward structured rotation as the farm matures.

Water Stewardship

Water Stewardship

We draw from farm streams and three wells, and we share that access with the local community. Natural drainage channels are protected.

Crop-Livestock Integration

Crop Livestock Integration

Manure feeds the soil and crop residues feed the animals. The loop cuts both our input costs and our organic waste.

Biodiversity

Biodiversity & Tree Cover

Ten or more species share the plantation, with no monoculture anywhere. Tree cover shelters younger crops and we avoid pesticides that harm pollinators.

Community Engagement

Community Engagement

Nine in ten of our workforce comes from Aganrigan Village and the surrounding communities. We pay above minimum wage and invest in their skills.

No-Deforestation Policy

No Deforestation Policy

No primary forest is cleared for expansion. Every acre we have added came from previously farmed or degraded land, and that is a standing rule rather than an aspiration.

Our Commitment

Honest About Where We Are

We stand behind the practices above. Formal carbon measurement, certified audits and full waste tracking are still ahead of us, and we would rather name that plainly than overclaim.

What We Grow and Rear

Our Plantation

Our Aganrigan Village plantation is a living, growing enterprise. Everything we plant is chosen for the soil, the climate and the market it serves. Our own nursery raises the planting material for these fields, and for other farms.

Tree Crops

Cocoa · Oil Palm · Hybrid Coconut

Our long horizon crops, at varying stages from establishing to bearing. Grown for export grade cocoa beans, crude and kernel palm oil, and coconut oil and copra.

Food Staples

Cassava · Plantain · Banana · Others

Cassava is our largest crop by land area and the anchor of our processing line. Plantain and banana serve fresh markets year round and shade young tree crops. Others include yam, okra and further food crops grown for local markets.

Fruit

Superloaf & MD 2 Pineapple · Citrus · Apple

Superloaf and MD 2 premium pineapples on staggered planting for near continuous harvest, alongside citrus, apple and other fruit grown for fresh markets and concentrate, with smaller plots where we trial new species as the farm expands.

Also on the farm

Livestock

Sheep, goats and cattle are reared on managed pasture within the crop system. Manure feeds the soil, crop residues supplement feed, and the animals supply meat and byproducts to domestic and commercial buyers.

What We Do

Two Ways We Bring the Farm to Life

From seed to shelf, our integrated model means every service connects to the next. This is not a list of offerings. It is a system.

01
Production

The Plantation.
Where Everything Begins.

Ten plus crop species across 100 acres, each deliberately selected for its suitability to Ogun State soils, its commercial value and its role within our integrated farm system. We practise precision agronomy on land that has never been chemically sterilised.

Livestock is woven into the same system rather than run beside it. Manure feeds the soil, crop residues feed the animals, and the loop cuts input costs while eliminating organic waste.

02 Processing and Trade

We Don't Just Grow.
We Transform and Trade.

Raw produce leaving the farm is revenue lost. We process on site into shelf stable, export grade goods, then move them to buyers worldwide through licensed export agents, freight partners and international trading houses across five continents.
